In March 2020, the phytosanitary supervision department of the Rosselkhoznadzor Office in the Zavyalovsky district of the Udmurt Republic carried out measures to control food potatoes (100 tons) intended for export to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As part of these measures, potato tubers were inspected, selected product samples were sent to the accredited laboratory of the Tatar MVL Federal State Budgetary Institution for research to identify quarantine objects. Laboratory examination revealed the absence of quarantine organisms in potatoes.
As a result of the inspection, phytosanitary certificates were issued to the owner of the regulated products (legal entity) in accordance with the requirements of the importing country, allowing the export of food potatoes outside the Russian Federation.
