The government of the Bryansk region held a meeting via videoconference on the issue "On the preparation and conduct of spring field work, and the state of winter crops in agricultural enterprises of the region for the harvest of 2023."
Deputy Governor of the region Boris Gribanov began the meeting with information that the spring sowing campaign started in the region on March 20, at the same time as last year. For the current period, in half of the districts of the region, the economy has begun seasonal field work: winter cereals, winter rapeseed, perennial grasses are being fed, soil is being prepared.
Director of the Department of Agriculture of the Bryansk Region Sergey Simonenko spoke about the preparation and conduct of spring field work, the state of winter crops in agricultural enterprises of the region for the harvest of 2023.
He noted that the sown area of winter crops for the current year's harvest in the region is 209 thousand hectares, of which 140 thousand hectares are grain, and 69 thousand hectares are rapeseed. According to the results of the survey, their condition is estimated at 96% as good.
According to the forecast of the structure of sown areas for 2023, the area of spring sowing in agricultural enterprises and peasant (farmer) farms will be 420 thousand hectares, of which: spring cereals and legumes - 193 thousand hectares, industrial crops - 69 thousand hectares (sugar beet - 5,2 14,4 thousand ha, spring rapeseed - 27,5 thousand ha, soybean - 13,5 thousand ha, sunflower - 1 thousand ha, fiber flax - 30,4 thousand ha), potatoes - 500 thousand ha ha, vegetable crops - about 130,3 ha, fodder crops - XNUMX thousand ha.
Director of the FGBU "Bryanskgrokhimradiologiya" Petr Prudnikov spoke about the availability of mineral fertilizers. As of March 28, 150,3 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers were purchased, which is 10,8 thousand tons more than the same period last year.
