Russia is discussing with Moldova the supply of potatoes and the expansion of the list of suppliers of livestock products. At a meeting of the heads of the Rosselkhoznadzor with their Moldovan colleagues, the interest of both countries in increasing bilateral exports was declared.
In particular, the Russian Federation gave the green light to joint inspections of cultivation places for products that are interesting to the Moldovan importer. At the same time, the Russian side is ready to export potatoes to the ex-republic of the USSR. In addition, Russia announced its interest in a significant increase in the number of suppliers of livestock products, emphasizing its willingness to invite Moldovan experts for the visit.
The Moldovan side, in turn, is asking the Russians to resume purchases of beef products and sheep meat. The parties also discussed the export prospects of Moldavian pork.
