Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Gordeev said that departments are preparing proposals aimed at offsetting rising fuel prices for farmers, Interfax reports.
“In relation to agricultural producers there are separate instructions (which are given) at a government meeting. They are aimed at ensuring that the ministries, together with the regions, make the appropriate calculations and submit them to the government, ”he told reporters in the Voronezh region. According to him, it is about "to make up for the additional losses of agricultural producers."
“Such proposals are being prepared now,” the deputy prime minister said. Noting that the increase in fuel prices had affected everyone, A. Gordeev recalled that the government had recently been actively negotiating with oil companies and introduced additional regulatory measures. “And today the price increase has stopped,” he stated. Touching on relations with Belarus regarding the supply of falsified dairy products, A. Gordeev said that “we are now in discussions with Belarus.”
At the same time, the government is considering the use of effective mechanisms to support domestic dairy producers. “An order was given to the ministries of economic development, agriculture, and finance to see how it is possible to compensate for the loss of agricultural producers, taking into account the fact that new complexes are being built and time is needed for their payback,” he said. - There is a problem, it is recognized. It remains to determine the amount of support and effective mechanisms. ”
