According to operational data from the Ministry of Agriculture, the Astrakhan Region is the leader in terms of harvest volumes among the regions of the Southern Federal District.
The agrarians' high rates are explained by favorable weather conditions, in particular, in the early warm spring. Planting started almost two weeks earlier.
Vegetables from the Astrakhan fields were also harvested more than usual: already 26 thousand tons. And the cleaning continues.
