Agricultural producers in the Chelyabinsk region will receive subsidies for the production of potatoes and oil crops, although these industries have been excluded from the federal list of support for farmers.
The indicated payments for farmers of the region will be realized at the expense of the regional treasury. A new procedure for the payment of unrelated support to agricultural producers for the production of oilseeds and ware potatoes was approved today, August 16, at a meeting of the government of the Chelyabinsk region.
By decision of the head of the region, Boris Dubrovsky, subsidies will be paid from the regional budget, 42 million 600 thousand rubles will be allocated for this purpose.
“We have repeatedly stressed that in recent years, the region has grown significantly oilseed crops - from 20 thousand hectares in 2010 to 110 thousand hectares in 2017. Nevertheless, this is only 6% in the crop rotation, and we would like it to be 10-15%, that is, not less than 200 thousand hectares. In this case, by the way, we can talk about the construction of an oil extraction plant on the territory of the region ", - noted the Minister of Agriculture of the Chelyabinsk Region Sergey Sushkov.
In total, 35 million rubles for oilseeds and 7,6 million rubles for ware potatoes will be paid from the regional budget as subsidies. The preliminary amount of subsidies will be 350 rubles per 1 hectare of sown area of oilseeds and 1000 rubles per hectare of potatoes. The ministry will carry out the acceptance of documents for the payment of subsidies from September 6 to 14.
