The Tyumen agricultural firm KRiMM completed sowing work on an area of 24 thousand hectares. The agricultural enterprise has planted more potatoes and carrots this year. The plan was implemented, despite adverse weather conditions.
As the general director of the agricultural firm Gennady Ryazanov said, each sowing campaign has its own characteristics, this year is no exception. “The weather was cold, it rained a lot. Nevertheless, we did everything we planned. They also increased the sown area for potatoes for further processing by 200 hectares, and added carrots. We expect a yield of at least 70 tons per hectare, ”said the head of the enterprise.
Immediately after the sowing in KRiMMe began harvesting cucumbers in the greenhouse complex. Vegetables grown on the ground are in demand, like garlic, salads and early cabbage. The company managed to reduce the delivery time of vegetables from fields and greenhouses to shops to a minimum, the press service of the government of the Tyumen region said.
