The harvest of the farms of the Agroproject of the August company will be supplied to its own elevator complex. The Sviyazhsk-Zernoproduct enterprise will start working on the territory of the Sviyazhsk interregional multimodal logistics center near Kazan. The location of the site makes it possible to transport grain by road, rail and water transport. The construction of the elevator will begin in 2021, it will accept the first shipments of grain in 2022, and it is scheduled to reach its design capacity in 2024. The cost of the project will be 1,7 billion rubles, including VAT.
MC "August-Agro" has begun preparations for the construction of a large elevator complex. The new enterprise, LLC Sviyazhsk-Zernoprodukt, will operate near Kazan, on the territory of the Sviyazhsk interregional multimodal logistics center in the Zelenodolsk municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The design capacity of the elevator will be 140 thousand tons of one-time grain storage.
Work on the construction of the facility should begin in 2021. Construction will be carried out in three stages (the first stage - 2021, the second - 2022, the third - 2023). It is assumed that the enterprise will start operating as early as 2022, and reach its design capacity by 2024. The project cost is 1,7 billion rubles including VAT.
The location on the territory of the logistics center meets the needs of the facility: all the necessary communications, including electricity and gas, have been connected to the site, a railway line has been built that connects the site of the future elevator with the Sviyazhsk railway station in the urban-type settlement. Nizhnie Vyazovye, located on the Moscow - Yekaterinburg line. There is also a connection with the Kazan - Ulyanovsk railway line. In addition, we have our own port: on the territory of the logistics hub, a quay wall has been built, suitable for loading grain onto ships of various types, including dry-cargo vessels of the "river-sea" type. Also a motor road has been laid.
“A significant part of the grain between the constituent entities of the Russian Federation is transported by road. However, today the conditions for the carriage of goods by rail and water transport are becoming more and more profitable, especially if we take into account the growing cost of transportation by cars, including their maintenance and fuels and lubricants. The volume of rail and water transportation will increase, and when choosing a place for the elevator, we were guided by these promising directions. We set ourselves the goal that in our port the period of loading grain on the ship is no more than 10 hours, and not 3-4 days, when most of this time the ship rented by the grain buyer is empty. And we put the same 10 hours on the formation of the train, because customers and carrier companies are also financially interested in speeding up these processes. There are no analogues to such a proposal in Tatarstan ", - notes the general director of the management company" August-Agro "Aydar Galyautdinov.
To ensure such a loading speed, Avgust-Agro studied the modern world experience in the construction of grain complexes. The capacity of conveyors, with the help of which grain will be loaded onto ships, will be 700 tons per hour. The transfer of grain to storage inside the elevator will be carried out at a speed of 400 tons per hour. In general, the project of the new complex provides for energy efficiency and the creation of a high degree of automation of production processes. Not far from its site, there are land plots of the "August-Kamskoye Ustye" agricultural company, which is part of the "Agroproject" company "August". "Avgust-Kamskoye Ustye" will become the anchor customer of the elevator services for long-term storage of products. Also "Sviyazhsk-Zernoprodukt" will provide other agricultural producers with a wide range of services for storage, cleaning, drying, transshipment and loading of grain. It is assumed that upon reaching the design capacity, about 420 thousand tons of products will pass through the elevator during the year.
It is predicted that investments in the elevator complex will pay off in 8 years, and within 15 years, the implementation of the investment project will generate a total added value of 5,2 billion rubles. Until 2035, the total amount of revenues to the budgets of all levels will be more than 1,7 billion rubles, including more than 700 million rubles in the form of taxes to the consolidated budget of the Republic of Tatarstan. In December 2020, an important event for the new enterprise took place: Sviyazhsk-Zernoprodukt became a resident of Zelenodolsk PSEDA. This status should provide the project with tax benefits in the amount of more than 360 million rubles throughout the entire period of its implementation.
The share of Sviyazhsk-Zernoprodukt LLC in the total volume of grain storage infrastructure in the Republic of Tatarstan after the elevator complex reaches full capacity should be 6,1%. At the farms of "Agroproject" in the republic today there is a shortage of granaries (the harvest in 2020 exceeded 200 thousand tons of grain, while the capacity of the own grain-receiving enterprise "August-Muslyum" is 50 thousand tons). Taking into account the prospects of increasing the land bank to 300 thousand hectares, the August-Agro Management Company plans to build another modern elevator with a storage capacity of 100 thousand tons in the Bugulma region of Tatarstan.
