JSC Firm "August", a major domestic manufacturer of plant protection chemicals (HSZR), has released a major update of the mobile application with a catalog of drugs for Russian users. The application has improved the search for the necessary HSZR - not only for crops, but also for active ingredients, a new herbicide effectiveness calculator has also been added and a number of other improvements have been made to make working with the application more convenient.
“The application, as before, contains the Augusta catalog of preparations, a section with protection systems for various crops, an atlas of harmful objects, useful calculators, the archive of the Field of August newspaper, contacts of representative offices and distributors. At the same time, the design has been updated on the platform, the interface has become even more intuitive, and new features have been added. The application can work even without access to the Internet, it is installed on a smartphone or tablet that you can take with you in the field. Our goal is to make the information necessary for farmers as accessible as possible in any place and under any conditions,” says Olga Rubchits, Deputy Head of the Advertising Department of Firma Avgust JSC.

In the product catalog, drugs can now be filtered not only by crops, but also by active ingredients. The section with crop protection systems has become interactive: when you click on each drug from any scheme, you can immediately read information about it.
In addition, a new herbicide effectiveness calculator on major crops has been added to help the user select the right herbicide against a specific weed species in the field.
In the application, the section with the issues of the newspaper "Field of August" is updated monthly. There are also links to the company's social media pages, including the new platform. "August's Blog", which publishes practical content for farmers.
In the "Contacts" section, it became possible to quickly find the closest representative office of the company to the user. The main menu now contains information about August's agricultural laboratories, where you can order individual research necessary for farms, and a link to the August Checker application, which helps customers distinguish genuine August products from fakes. All products of the company for the agro-industrial complex are subject to serial marking, and a code is applied to each package of the drug, along with other data containing its unique serial number in encrypted form. To check the drug, you need to scan the code on the package, and the August Checker application will determine whether such a number is registered in the August database and whether it matches the numbers of products already tested and used by anyone.
