In January-July 2017, Ukraine imported potatoes for $ 2,02 million, while the export of the corresponding products for the reporting period amounted to $ 2,7 million. This is reported by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, reports IOP.
Thus, potatoes for $ 857 thousand were imported from the Netherlands, $ 604 thousand from Germany, $ 200 thousand from Egypt, and $ 365 thousand from other countries.
At the same time, potatoes for a total amount of $ 2,7 million were delivered for export from Ukraine over the seven months of this year.
Potatoes worth $ 2,6 million were supplied to Belarus, the Republic of Moldova - $ 61, Azerbaijan - $ 18, other countries - $ 35.
As reported IU, At the end of the first half of 2017, the volume of exports of goods from Ukraine increased by 24,2% (or by $ 4,03 billion) compared to the same period last year and amounted to $ 20,7 billion.
