In 2022, the Chelyabinsk Region will start implementing a new federal program for melioration and involvement in the circulation of agricultural land, a new type of grants - for the development of agro-tourism - will become another form of targeted support for farmers. Financing for the construction of new agricultural facilities will increase in the region, and regional subsidies for the purchase of mineral fertilizers and equipment will increase. This was reported by the Minister of Agriculture of the region Alexei Kobylin.
In 2021, agricultural enterprises increased potato production by 13 tons: 100 tons of tubers were harvested, which will allow them to have a supply until the next harvest.
In 2022, financing for the construction of new facilities in the agro-industrial complex will be increased under the capex program (capex - compensation for part of the direct costs incurred), the regional subsidy for the purchase of mineral fertilizers will increase to 200 million rubles (doubling) and significantly, up to 314 million rubles - the regional subsidy for the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment.
One of the priority areas for 2022 is the production of potatoes and open ground vegetables: beets, cabbage, carrots, onions. It is planned to increase the area under these crops. Direct subsidies for vegetable and potato growing in the region will increase by 13,7 million rubles and amount to 41 million rubles. When paying subsidies for the purchase of mineral fertilizers, it is planned to establish an increasing rate for enterprises growing potatoes and vegetables. The “capex” program will help the farms to build modern high-tech storage facilities with state support. In addition, the regional ministry asked the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia about the possibility of establishing the production of ware potatoes as a priority under the incentive subsidy in order to provide additional funding for potato farms.
From 2022, a new state program for the effective involvement of agricultural land in circulation and the development of the reclamation complex begins to operate. For 2022, the Chelyabinsk Region has been allocated 74 million rubles for the implementation of the program. The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation has already passed a preliminary selection for various types of land reclamation projects of several farms: one enterprise is planning measures for hydromelioration, another - for liming soils and more than 15 enterprises - for involving agricultural land in the turnover.
