According to Roskachestvo, the number of organic producers in the country increased by 2022% in 46 (from 100 at the beginning of the year to 146).

The Federal Law "On Organic Products" came into force in Russia only on January 1, 2020. According to it, producers of organic products must be certified by an accredited certification body and included in the Unified Register of Organic Producers of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
In 2022, according to Roskachestvo, five new regions appeared on the organic map of Russia at once: the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Republic of Udmurtia, the Leningrad Region, the Primorsky Territory and the Republic of Bashkortostan. This year, the first producers of organic rice, asparagus, and some types of berries (for example, cloudberries, princesses) were certified.
The undisputed leader in the number of certified organic products are producers of grain crops. In Russia, they are grown by about 30% of producers. Then come vegetable products - 18,3%, livestock products - 16% and animal feed - 15%.
