Corteva Agriscience has become the main sponsor of the Farming Simulator League (FSL) video game for the 2019/2020 season.
Recall that the game was released in 2004 and for more than 15 years has been a popular agricultural simulator aimed at virtual farming and making a profit.
Corteva Agriscience products are also featured in the latest version of the Farming Simulator 19 game. Players now have the opportunity to purchase Pioneer® seeds and Corteva ™ plant protection products for their virtual farms.
“Corteva Agriscience was the first company to introduce seeds and herbicides into the gaming environment,” said Christian Ammann, CEO of GIANTS Software. “We always try to make the Farming Simulator game experience more realistic, so the inclusion of Corteva herbicides and the famous Pioneer seeds will emphasize the naturalness of what is happening for the players.”
“On the field and in the game, we strive to arouse the new generation's enthusiasm for agriculture,” said Steve Betz, global brand manager at Corteva Agriscience. “We are delighted to join the vibrant Farming Simulator community - gamers who love agriculture and future farmers who love games - and offer them the opportunity to experience our products in the virtual world.”
During the year (from July 2019), the European teams of the Farming Simulator League will compete for the title of champion of the Farming Simulator and for the main prize - 250 euros. The game is available on all popular platforms, including consoles, mobile phones, tablets and PCs.
