The final in 2021 meeting of the operational headquarters to monitor the situation in the agro-industrial complex and on the food market was held at the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia. Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev summed up preliminary results on the main areas of work of the agro-industrial complex.
According to the minister, a decent harvest has been obtained, which fully meets the needs of the domestic market and the country's export opportunities.
Work was carried out to plan the structure of sown areas for 2022. An increase in the area under spring cereals, sugar beets, rapeseed, soybeans, potatoes and open field vegetables is forecasted.
The minister also outlined a number of changes in the field of regulatory and legal regulation of the industry that will occur in 2022. So, within the framework of the state program of the agro-industrial complex, small businesses will be able to receive a grant "Agrotourism" in the amount of up to 10 million rubles. A new fundamental direction of work is the state program for the effective involvement of agricultural land in the turnover and the development of a reclamation complex. In the next 3 years, 94,3 billion rubles are allocated for its implementation in the federal budget, including 29,7 billion rubles for 2022.
In conclusion, Dmitry Patrushev emphasized that on the New Year holidays, it is necessary to ensure the high-quality functioning of all responsible departments at the regional level. In addition, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture called on the heads of the management bodies of the agro-industrial complex to ensure compliance with the structure of sown areas and monitor the sufficiency of all material and technical resources for farmers.
