The volume of state support for the agro-industrial complex of the Rostov region increased due to the allocation of additional funds for the production and sale of grain crops. This was announced on November 7 at a meeting on the achievement of target indicators of the agro-industrial complex by the first deputy of the Don Governor Viktor Goncharov, reports official website of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
According to the Don Ministry of Agriculture and Food, to date, almost 6 billion rubles of state support funds have been directed to the development of the agro-industrial complex.
In total, in 2022, about 50 areas of subsidizing agricultural producers are envisaged in the Rostov Region, including 24 areas at the expense of the federal budget.
The largest volumes of state funding in 2022 on the Don are directed to subsidies to grain producers - 1 billion 27 million rubles, the purchase of agricultural equipment - 545 million rubles, support for elite seed production - 360 million rubles, the development of livestock breeding - 358 million rubles, as well as land reclamation in the region - 264,9 million rubles.
“In addition, the Don agrarians are provided with everything necessary by the system of concessional lending,” summed up the first deputy head of the Don region. “Agricultural enterprises and farmers of the Rostov region have already received more than 24 billion rubles of preferential short-term loans at a rate of no more than 5%, and almost 6,4 billion rubles of preferential investment loans.”
