At present, domestic agriculture is completely dependent on imported technologies. This was stated by the NSN, Director of ZAO Lenin State Farm Pavel Grudinin.
“Almost everything that is at any stage of production is foreign. In fact, there is nothing domestic there. We buy imported ingredients, even seeds, which depend on the exchange rate of the euro and the dollar. If we modernized production, if new tractors and machines appeared, then we could talk about the result, ”the expert said, noting that upon the cessation of supplies, production will stop.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Alexander Tkachev, said it needed 3-5 years to cover 90 percent of the Russian vegetable market with Russian products. Prior to this, the minister noted that Russia over the past three years has reduced food imports from different countries by 2,5 times.
