Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili treated his Belarusian counterpart with the potatoes he had donated. The head of the host shared an interesting detail about the details of the dinner during an official visit to Georgia in an interview with ONT.
He told how earlier Alexander Lukashenko presented him with seed potatoes from his own garden, which he personally grew, and during the meeting there was an opportunity to assess what happened already in the prepared form.
As Belta notes, the Georgian president is considered a well-known gardener who has repeatedly given an opportunity to evaluate his agricultural success from photographs. Pictures of his harvest of potatoes from seeds donated by Alexander Lukashenko recently appeared on his page in one of the social networks. In order to support his colleague, the leader of Belarus after the aforementioned dinner presented Georgy Margvelashvili with a BELARUS-152 tractor, which is distinguished by its small dimensions, thanks to which it is possible to carry out work, including on small areas.
It should be noted that following the official visit of the head of the Belarusian Republic to Georgia, the parties also came to a number of agreements. Alexander Lukashenko called them historical. In particular, the leaders agreed on the creation of joint ventures for the agricultural sector, and the Belarusian side intends to help not only in terms of providing equipment, but also in training skilled workers.
