An extraordinary meeting of the Expert Commission was held at the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia to include in the State Register selection achievements of new varieties of agricultural crops, as well as to expand the access zone for already registered varieties and hybrids. The event was held in a videoconference mode.
Specialists of the FSBI Gossortkomissiya analyzed the needs for grades of 24 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. They examined 113 varieties and hybrids of crops. In the Ural region, the access zone was expanded in 2020 for 16 varieties and hybrids of agricultural crops. These are hybrids of sugar beet Lydia KVS F1, Smart Narnia KVS F1; spring rape variety Dome; hybrids and varieties of corn Rodnik 179 SV, Spring 180 SV, Agata SV, Severina; potato varieties - Cupid, Baltic Rose, Bravo, Gala, Cavalier, Colomba, Saw, Ranomi.
Since 2020, the above varieties and hybrids are recommended for use in the Republic of Bashkortostan.
