Potato System magazine publishes a daily report on the situation in the table potato market. We receive information about prices and harvesting progress from agricultural producers from different regions of Russia.
As of September 15, 2022, Russian potato growers were selling table potatoes (lots of 20 tons or more) at prices ranging from 10 to 22 rubles/kg. The cheapest products could be purchased in the Udmurt Republic and the Novosibirsk Region (10 rubles/kg); Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov regions and the Republic of Mari El, potatoes were sold at 11,00 rubles / kg.
Potatoes were slightly more expensive in the Chuvash Republic (11,50 rubles/kg) and in the Tula region (12,00 rubles/kg),
The average price level increased (from 13 to 15 rubles/kg) and settled in the Volgograd, Ulyanovsk, Samara, and Bryansk regions; Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria.
Prices
Slightly higher (from 16 to 18 rubles/kg) the bar was raised in Omsk, Yaroslavl, Moscow regions, Perm region and Karelia. And the highest prices for potatoes (20 rubles/kg) were recorded in the Chelyabinsk Region and Primorsky Territory. Also, some enterprises of the Rostov region declared a price of 22 rubles / kg.
