At the end of this year, the construction of a plant for food processing and production of french fries will begin in the Almaty region. Reports about this lsm.kz, referring to the press service of the regional akimat.
According to the information, the construction of the facility was made possible through joint negotiations with the Dutch company Farm Frites. The total project cost amounted to 43,1 billion tenge.
The company will be commissioned in 2019. It is expected that the plant will produce 70 thousand tons of products per year, and 80% of the products will be exported.
