Agricultural enterprises of the Tomsk region were the first to enter the potato fields, in particular, the Zorkaltsevskoye farm harvested the early Karatop potato variety.
The total area under crops of this crop in the Tomsk region is 1383 ha.
To this day, August 16, cereals and legumes have been threshed from an area of 12164 ha, which is 7,5% of the crops in the Tomsk Region. In total, farms in the region threshed 34126 tons of grain with an average yield of 28 centners per hectare.
Among the leaders in harvesting grain and legumes Shegarsky district - 2259 hectares (14,4% of the sown area), Kozhevnikovsky - 6486 hectares (10,6%) and Asinovsky district - 635 hectares (6%).
Forage harvesting in the region was 88,8% completed and ahead of last year's figures - in 2018, on August 16, 85,2% of the plan was prepared. In general, the farms of the Tomsk region harvested 179,49 thousand tons of hay and 226 thousand tons of hay and grain.
Also, sowing of winter crops (3285 hectares in the Kozhevnikovsky district) and preparation of winter plows continue in the farms of the Tomsk region - 2910 hectares are plowed in Asinovsky, Bakcharsky, Kozhevnikovsky and Krivosheinsky districts.
