Ken Moynihan appointed Chief Executive Officer TOMRA Processed Food is a global leader in sorting potatoes and other vegetables, as well as nuts and dried fruits. Ken has over 15 years of experience in technology, including in senior management positions. Prior to that, he served as CEO of Compac, a global leader in grading fresh fruit acquired by TOMRA in 2017. Ken is convinced that the modern food industry is actively transforming under the influence of technology. He intends to draw on his experience in international management with a business-oriented technology approach within the broader food industry segment. Born in Ireland, he has lived and worked in South Africa, the United States and New Zealand and will now be working in the United States and Belgium.
Geoff Furniss becomes Chief Executive Officer TOMRA Fresh Food is a global leader in complete solutions from receipt to packaging for fresh vegetables, fruits and berries such as apples, avocados, cherries and blueberries. This business area will combine the technological expertise and experience of BBC Technologies and Compac. Jeff has over 25 years of experience in technology. For the past 16 years, he has held senior management positions at Ag Tech. One of Jeff's top priorities is to strive to create customer-centric, innovative solutions that help ensure the highest quality products that meet the needs of the end consumer.
Ashley Hunter, who led the processed products business for many years, retired on January 31, 2021, ending his long career with the company. Under his leadership, the first stage of integration was successfully completed TOMRA Food... The ongoing transformations were a continuation of his endeavors.
