How can you sell your produce to a small farm if buyers don't want to go to markets and fairs amid the pandemic? To join efforts with the same agricultural enterprises and conduct trade on a common Internet site, according to the Yaroslavl region. Recently, a marketplace appeared in the region “Yaroslavl Farmer "(yarfarmer.ru), with the help of which local farmers sell (and the townspeople buy) fresh vegetables, berries, dairy products, meat, fish, honey, confectionery, tea, etc.
The initiator of the project was the State Autonomous Institution of Continuing Professional Education of the Yaroslavl Region "Information and Consulting Service of the Agro-Industrial Complex". The organization works in the field of agricultural consulting, provides consulting services to agricultural producers, prepares documents for obtaining grants, informs about state support measures, is a center of competence in the field of agricultural cooperation.
How does the site work? Agricultural producers post information about their products and services in the appropriate section on their own or with the help of the site administrator. The buyer adds the selected items to the basket and receives a notification about the acceptance of the order. After confirming the order, the farmer independently contacts the customer to discuss the terms of delivery.
The service increases the efficiency of farms, ensures the solution of current problems in marketing, advertising, promotion and sales.
The organizers of the marketplace maintain a resource in social networks, where they tell not only about the products, but also about the farmers themselves, their farms, and the peculiarities of production. And they do it with all their hearts: after scrolling through the feed, it is very difficult to keep from buying honey from the family apiary or craft cheese made according to an Italian recipe. Each product presented at the site becomes special, acquires its own history.
The site is still in test mode, but it is already enjoying noticeable popularity. In 2021, 36 agricultural producers of the Yaroslavl region were registered on the site, and the creators of the project expect that this number will grow.
It is easy to become a member of the marketplace, for this you need:
- Register on the site http://yarfarmer.ru
- Send the organizers a photo, product description, price list, certificates of conformity.
- Leave your contacts and sign a consent to the processing of personal data.
Everyone: receive orders and communicate with customers!
An important detail: for registered peasant farms, participation in the project is free!
