The Ministry of Agriculture intends to facilitate the work of farmers with federal information systems in the field of traceability of seeds (FSIS Semenovodstvo), agrochemicals (FSIS Saturn) and agricultural land (EFIS ZSN), in order to eliminate the need to repeatedly enter the same information, - reports Pole.rf.
Roman Nekrasov, Director of the Department of Crop Production, Mechanization, Chemicalization and Plant Protection of the Ministry of Agriculture, spoke about this on February 10, speaking at the conference “Where is the margin - 2023”.
“The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation is working on linking these systems and facilitating the working conditions of specific users. The fact that we will try to make the working conditions of specific agricultural producers as easy as possible in terms of entering information into the system and, perhaps, using this information later, taking into account, of course, confidentiality, all these issues are naturally thought out. Already now, on the basis of EFIS ZSN, we are making a fairly serious platform for agrochemical support of agricultural production. I am sure that the FSIS Semenovodstvo and FSIS Saturn will be joined to it in the strategic perspective,” Nekrasov said.
He did not specify the terms and platform on the basis of which the docking will take place.
