Eight varieties of potatoes from Belarus will be planted in nurseries Primorye... After agroecological tests, the best varieties will be available to agricultural producers in the region.
According to the Minister of Agriculture of Primorye Andrei Bronts, in April it is planned to supply 800 kilograms of seeds of early and late varieties of potatoes Palats, Pershatsvet, Karsan, Lel, Garantia, Rubin, Krok and Nara from scientific institutions of the Republic of Belarus.
“The Belarusian potatoes are distinguished by their high taste and good presentation. After agro-ecological tests, the most promising varieties will be available for agricultural producers and personal subsidiary plots of the region, ”stressed Andrei Bronts.
It should be noted that varieties of other agricultural crops from Belarus are also being introduced in the region. So, last year more than 1,5 thousand hectares of Volma soybeans were sown.
Let's fill, in the Primorsky Territory this year it is planned to sow more than 500 thousand hectares with various agricultural crops. Agrarians are already preparing for spring field work: they are preparing equipment, buying seeds and mineral fertilizers.
