A record harvest of onions is expected in 2017 on the fields of the agricultural firm KRiMM in the Uporovsky district. This was made possible thanks to a radical improvement in soil structure, timely irrigation, and balanced plant nutrition.
“The prepared fields give us the result we need. The same can be said for the carrot experiment. Last fall, we sowed "winter" carrots on an area of three hectares. As a result, we got a quality product with a yield of 50 tons per hectare. As for potatoes, in addition to harvesting, now our main task is to protect field nurseries from latent forms of viral infection. In addition, we continue to work on the formation of the so-called "green bed", - explained the general director of the agricultural firm Gennady Ryazanov.
According to the press service of the regional government, the agricultural firm is in full swing harvesting cauliflower, radish, cucumbers, various types of salads. All this is already on the day of collection on the shelves of the stores of the "KRiMM" network.
