The exhibition is held in the Ust-Labinsk region of the Krasnodar Territory. About 400 equipment manufacturers from Russia and foreign countries participate in it, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture reports.
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Governor Andrey Korobka, Director of the Department of Crop Production, Mechanization, Chemicalization and Plant Protection of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia Roman Nekrasov, Chairman of the WGW Committee for the Development of Agro-Industrial Complex and Food Sergey Orlenko.
Andrey Korobka greeted those present on behalf of Governor Veniamin Kondratiev and noted that even under the conditions of sanctions, Kuban farmers continue to modernize their agricultural machinery fleet. Since the beginning of the year, more than a thousand units of various agricultural machines have been purchased in the amount of 5 billion rubles.
“Agricultural machinery is purchased for many years to come, and it is important for farmers to understand how affordable spare parts, repairs and maintenance will be in the future. The scale and number of participants in the Zolotaya Niva exhibition give them confidence in this matter. There is a large amount of domestic equipment here, which is in no way inferior to imports,” Andrey Korobka said.
The vice-governor added that the region is expanding cooperation with machine builders from Belarus, whose equipment is in great demand among Kuban farmers. Her best examples are also presented at the exhibition.
Sergei Orlenko congratulated the guests and participants of the exhibition on behalf of the head of the regional parliament, Yuriy Burlachko. He stressed that under the new conditions, the course towards import substitution is a stable trend in Russia's economic policy.
“The agro-industrial exhibition provides a unique opportunity to meet representatives of the agricultural sector at one site. And the twenty years of experience of the organizers makes it possible to make Zolotaya Niva a place to promote agricultural innovations, search for partners and expand the geography of the presence of the agrotechnical business,” Sergey Orlenko said.
There are preferential federal and regional programs for the purchase of agricultural machinery in the Krasnodar Territory. This year, a new regional state support measure has been introduced in the form of compensation to farmers for 10% of the cost of purchasing agricultural equipment from Kuban manufacturers. 40 million rubles were allocated for these purposes.
The XXII Agroindustrial Exhibition will run until May 27. Shows of specialized agricultural machinery, business events for the development of the regional agro-industrial complex are planned.
