In accordance with the operational statistics of the Federal Customs Service of Russia for 11 months of 2020, the region has already completed the task to increase the volume of exports of agro-industrial products in 2020. To date, the volume of exports of agricultural products of the Oryol region amounted to 93 million US dollars. This is 103,3% of the 2020 target.
The growing volume of exports of agricultural products allows us to assert a significant potential for the development of exports of this industry in the region.
One of the main directions of Oryol export is the export of products of the fat and oil industry, with a plan for 2020 of $ 30 million. Today, products worth 33,7 million US dollars have already been exported, which is 112% of the planned figure for 2020.
For 11 months of this year, the volume of exports of food and processing industry products exceeded the planned indicator for 2020 by 151,1% and amounted to USD 13,6 million.
In comparison with the same period of the previous year, the largest growth in the volume of exports was recorded for the following products of the agro-industrial complex of the region: potatoes - 5 times, soybeans - 3 times, buckwheat - 2 times, flax seeds - 1,5 times. In addition, barley, sunflower seeds and fodder products were actively exported.
Let us remind you that the regional project is an integral part of the federal project of the same name, which is being implemented within the framework of the international cooperation and export national project.
