In the Orenburg region, open ground vegetables are being harvested. According to operational data, vegetables were harvested from an area of 2 hectares (173,6% of the plan) and 71 tons were harvested with an average yield of 38 centners per hectare, reports official website of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
Agricultural producers removed:
- cabbage - 383,2 ha, gross harvest - 7 tons with an average yield of 739,4 c/ha;
- onion-turnips - 300,5 ha, gross harvest - 12 tons with an average yield of 841,5 q/ha;
- beets - 20,7 ha, gross harvest - 286 tons with an average yield of 138,5 q/ha;
- carrots - 67 ha, gross harvest - 1 tons with an average yield of 367 c/ha;
- other vegetables - 1402,2 ha, gross harvest - 16 tons with an average yield of 183,7 c/ha.
Potatoes are planted by agricultural producers on an area of 1428 hectares, which is 269,1 hectares more than last year.
According to operational data as of October 13, potatoes were dug out from an area of 919,5 hectares (64% of the plan), the gross harvest is 18 tons, with an average yield of 370,5 q/ha.
