As noted by the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the region Andrei Razin, "Razdolye" is one of the leading agricultural enterprises of the Moscow region.
“The company began harvesting potatoes at the end of September, and even bad weather did not prevent the workers of this enterprise from growing a good harvest, which is twice as high as last year's figure for the entire Klin district of the Moscow region. Famous potato varieties such as Red Scarlet, Galla and Innovator are grown here. They plan to harvest over 80 thousand tons of crops from 2,4 hectares, the average yield is 300 centners per hectare, ”Razin said.
According to the minister, the harvesting is carried out in a mixed way: using specialized equipment and manually, then the root crops are dried and sorted in a potato storage.
Sales of products under the Zavidovo brand will be carried out through retail chains in Moscow and Moscow Region, as well as at retail directly from the garden in the village of Vozdvizhenskoye, Klinsky District, the minister emphasized.
Razin previously reported that since 2016 Razdolye has been growing potatoes in the Klinsky district in the territory of the Zavidovo National Park, exclusively on agricultural lands. The land bank of the company exceeds 10 thousand hectares in the Dmitrov, Klinsky and Odintsovo districts and the urban district of Istra.
The main activities of the company: plant growing, vegetable growing, hay harvesting and beekeeping. Last year, a modern vegetable storehouse was built with a capacity of 3,5 thousand tons, and in 2017 the company invested over 12 million rubles in updating the fleet of agricultural machinery.
