Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev and Acting Governor of the Ryazan Region Pavel Malkov discussed the main parameters and points for further growth of the region's agro-industrial complex, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture reports.
According to preliminary data, the index of agricultural production in the subject for the first three months of 2022 amounted to more than 105%. According to Dmitry Patrushev, this is higher than in the whole country.
At present, the sowing campaign in the region has been completed, the area has been increased. Separately, the minister noted the work of Ryazan farmers to increase productivity. Thus, the fertilizer application rate is more than 120 kg per hectare, which is twice as much as the national average, which has a positive effect on production efficiency.
The development of reclamation also affects the increase in productivity. Participation in the state program for the effective involvement of agricultural land in circulation and the development of the reclamation complex will help increase the use of reclaimed lands in the region's agricultural production. In 2022, within its framework, 65 projects will be subsidized in the region for more than 170 million rubles.
