From 2022, manufacturers of agricultural machinery and equipment will be able to receive federal funding for the development and production of new types of products, as well as for the modernization of existing production facilities. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approved the rules for granting subsidies for these purposes.
State support is aimed at creating the most popular types of small-scale machinery and equipment (beet, potato and flax harvesters, equipment for horticulture and viticulture), as well as improving existing agricultural machinery products.
The recipients of state support will be determined by the results of the selection, which is carried out by a special interdepartmental commission formed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Subsidies will be provided within the framework of the state program "Development of industry and increasing its competitiveness".
The subsidy funds will cover up to 60% of the costs of modernizing production facilities, developing and releasing new products, including the costs of research and development work, production of prototypes, mock-ups and stands, and equipment rental.
The term for the implementation of projects to modernize production should not exceed five years, and projects to create new products - eight years. Subsidies for the implementation of such projects will be provided for no more than two and three years, respectively.
