President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, speaking on October 3 at the ceremony of appointing new heads of district executive committees, expressed the opinion that Belarus had very favorable conditions for exporting food products this year: “An immense market has opened up for agriculture and enterprises. We can sell everything in Russia, China,” reports Learned.
At the same time, the head of Belarus drew the attention of the audience to the need to complete the harvesting campaign in a quality and timely manner, in particular, the harvesting of potatoes, sugar beets, corn for grain, and flax.
Alexander Lukashenko noted that, if necessary, even schoolchildren can and should be involved in the cleaning work. He stressed that the experience of previous years, when teenagers and young people helped agricultural enterprises to harvest, was positive, it contributed to team building, accustomed to work. In addition, today there are entrepreneurs who are willing to pay decent money for help in harvesting.
In addition, Alexander Lukashenko reminded the new heads of districts of the need to include products in stabilization funds so that the country can maintain a range of vegetables in domestic trade and keep prices for potatoes, beets, carrots, etc. at a stable level.
