Rosselkhoznadzor continues to actively work on the integration of information systems in the field of plant quarantine with the possibility of switching to the exchange of phytosanitary certificates in electronic form with the main countries supplying plant products, reports press service of the organization.
In order to ensure the traceability of the movement of goods of plant origin, to prevent the import of sanctioned products under the guise of cover goods, as well as to speed up the passage of quarantine phytosanitary control at checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation, such interaction is carried out with 22 countries of the world. Among them are the states from which Russia imports the largest volumes of regulated goods.
To date, work has already been completed on the integration of the Russian FSIS Argus-FITO system with similar technical solutions from Belarus and Uzbekistan. Work plans for the interaction of systems with Kazakhstan, Serbia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan have been signed and are in the process of being implemented.
It is planned to sign draft protocols for the integration of similar platforms with Morocco, Chile, Peru, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vietnam, China, Turkey, Brazil and Iran.
In addition, countries such as Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Moldova, Ecuador and Egypt confirmed their interest in this issue.
The list of the main fruits and vegetables exported from the CIS countries includes: potatoes, apples, carrots, tomatoes, persimmons. From the countries of the Middle East - tangerines, potatoes, oranges, lemons, grapes, apples. From the countries of Latin America - bananas, apples, grapes, avocados. From Asian countries - carrots, garlic, tomatoes, cashew nuts. From the countries of the Balkan region (Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina) - apples, strawberries, pears.
