According to the press service, during the negotiations of the deputy head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Yulia Shvabauskene said that the supply of potatoes from these regions can be resumed after the Egyptian side provides complete information about the measures taken and the investigation in each of the zones.
In turn, the Egyptian department announced its readiness to provide all the necessary information to the Rosselkhoznadzor within a week. In addition, the parties discussed quarantine phytosanitary requirements and quality and safety requirements for Russian wheat, which is exported to Egypt. In particular, the Egyptian side informed that Russian wheat imported into the country should be decontaminated by institutions subordinate to the Rosselkhoznadzor.
