Potatoes and fresh cabbage have risen in price by almost one and a half times, while oranges, on the contrary, have fallen in price by about 20%. Mosgorstat summed up the results for January - April 2017 and found out how the prices for food and non-food products in the capital have changed.
According to the ministry, in April this year the cost of food increased by 0,8%, and since the beginning of the year - by 2,6%. Note that these indicators for the same periods of 2016 were 0,6 and 2,9%.
So, over the four months of this year, lamb rose in price by 1,3%, semi-smoked sausage - by 2,3%, smoked fish delicacies - by 2,7%, milk - by 5%, cheeses - by 5,5%, condensed milk - by 2%, flour bagels - by 3%, grapes - by 18%, potatoes - by 44%. And a record jump took place with the prices for fresh white cabbage. You will have to pay 56% more per kilogram than at the end of 2016. But there are products that have dropped in price: chilled chicken and live fish (by 2%), buckwheat (by 4%), sugar (by 7%) and oranges (by 18%).
By the way, the cost of the minimum set of products on average in Moscow at the end of April 2017 amounted to 4709,95 rubles per month and increased compared to March by 2,9%, since the beginning of the year - by 5,8%.
Prices for clothes, medicines and perfumes rose slightly: by 0,2% compared with March and by 1,6% since the beginning of the year. In addition, more will now have to pay more for a women's nightgown (4,3%), sneakers (4,6%), children's sweaters (4%), mascara and textbooks (2,9% for each unit) product).
If we consider the tariffs for services, then in April this year they grew by 0,1%, and from the beginning of the year - by 1,1%. In just four months, prices for travel in public transport (11,4%) and for a visit to the dentist (11,8%) jumped most seriously. Also, you will have to pay more for a lesson in a foreign language (by 2,6%). But the trip in the reserved seat car of a non-branded train became cheaper by 7,6%. The average cost of tickets to a sanatorium has decreased by the same amount.
