Smolensk agrarians will receive an additional 5 percent discount on the purchase of agricultural machinery manufactured by the country's largest combine plant, Rostselmash. This was made possible thanks to a cooperation agreement between the regional administration and the plant, which was signed by Governor Alexei Ostrovsky.
Taking into account regional and federal funds, as well as within the framework of the Government Decision No. 1432, the cost of agricultural machinery will now be from 35 to 50%.
As part of the signed document, agricultural producers of the Smolensk region will be given an additional 5 percent discount on the purchase of combine harvesters and tractors Buhler Versatile, produced at Rostselmash production facilities. This brand is in great demand among Russian farmers. According to experts, the car is attractive for its ease of use, engine reliability and high power. In turn, the regional administration is committed to supporting the establishment of business ties between agricultural producers in the region and the combine plant.
- Technical re-equipment of the agro-industrial complex is the most important direction in the development of agriculture in the region. Today the Regional Administration has reached an agreement with the world's largest manufacturer of agricultural machinery on the issue of additional discounts for our farmers. Together with the measures of state support, this will significantly increase the rate of renewal of the equipment park of agricultural producers in the Smolensk region. Our farmers will be able to save up to 50% on its purchase - such significant support measures are available in only a few regions, ”said Governor Alexei Ostrovsky.
It is worth noting that this year, on behalf of the head of the region, a subsidy of 100 million rubles was allocated from the regional budget for updating the agricultural machinery park.
