The largest vegetable holding in the Moscow region, Dmitrovsky Vegetables, has launched a project to build a modern vegetable storehouse with a capacity of 10 tons. at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region.
“Permission to build a vegetable store was received on July 11. The planned volume of investments is about 450 million rubles, the number of jobs created is 15 units. The project is planned to be completed in the 4th quarter of 2023. In total, 22 investment projects are planned in the region for 2022-2024, which will increase the storage of vegetables by 30%, - said Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region Vladislav Murashov.
The implementation of projects for the construction of vegetable stores in the region will help stabilize prices, because there will be no shortage of local agricultural products on the shelves. Enterprises will be able to supply it not only in the autumn-winter, but also in the spring.
In the period 2022-2024 vegetable stores will appear in the Taldom district, Kolomna, Dmitrovsky district, Yegorievsk, Lukhovitsy, Stupino.
This year, agricultural producers have increased the planting and sowing area by more than 33 hectares, including 10% for potatoes and 2% for open ground vegetables. It is planned that in 2 years the production of these crops will increase by 156 thousand tons.
Modern potato storages with active ventilation and vegetable storages with refrigeration equipment allow you to store products from September to May inclusive.
The Minister also noted that in the Moscow region there are measures of state support in the implementation of investment projects for the creation of vegetable stores (potato stores). These are concessional lending (at 1-5%), reimbursement of 20% of capital costs for the reconstruction of storage facilities (not higher than the marginal cost of the facility), reimbursement of a quarter of the costs (but not more than the marginal cost of the facility) for the creation or modernization of storage facilities.
