“Now is a transitional period: stocks of old crops are coming to an end, and in this regard, such price fluctuations are quite natural. I think that prices will stabilize in the near future and may even decrease. Despite the rise in prices, their level did not reach the maximum values recorded in previous periods: for example, cabbage and onions are now cheaper than two years ago. The maximum prices for all fruits were recorded in 2016. The dairy group of goods, in turn, showed a multidirectional trend: milk fell in price (by 0,6% - from 54,5 to 54,2 rubles), and butter, on the contrary, rose in price (by 1,3% - from 113,6 to 115,2 rubles), ”said Elena Reinbach.
Recall that in the previous reporting period - from March 21 to April 18 - the OFAS, on the contrary, recorded a decrease in prices for fruits: oranges (from 56,56 rubles to 49,7 rubles), pears (from 119,16 rubles to 106,7 rubles), tangerines (from 76,34 rubles to 69,65 rubles), bananas (from 60,86 rubles to 55,23 rubles), apples (from 58,78 rubles to 54,8 rubles).
