The construction of the ultra-modern workshop took more than three years. It was conducted in accordance with the State Program for Innovative Development of the Republic of Belarus for 2016-2020. The project was financed from various sources, including the republican and regional innovation funds.
The productivity of the new workshop is 2 tons per hour. The annual volume is about 3,5 thousand tons of frozen french fries. Previously, the country imported about 5 thousand tons of this product per year. And the new enterprise will almost completely cover the domestic needs of the country and will export frozen potato straws. In particular, Tolochin Cannery has already shipped 22 tons of frozen french fries to Russia.

The product is packaged in bags weighing 750 g and 2,5 kg. For the production of semi-finished products, potatoes of the Innovator variety are used. The technical conditions and standards of the new line meet the requirements of KFC and McDonald's, the Tolochin Cannery notes.
