Nutritionists conducted an experiment with 90 volunteers. They were divided into 3 groups - the first ate low-calorie food, the second ate a high glycemic index diet, and the rest ate without any restrictions.
Then the scientists observed the people participating in the study for 90 days. According to the portal "Actual News", when counting calories and limiting portions, potatoes have a beneficial effect on the process of losing weight.
