The Ukrainian authorities imposed sanctions against 18 Russian legal entities. This was announced today, September 20, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine.
It is reported that sanctions were imposed against 18 Russian companies that are engaged in the production and supply of mineral fertilizers. The reason for the imposition of sanctions was information on the cooperation of these companies with the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics.
In particular, the enterprises of the Eurochem group fell under the restrictions: LLC Agrocenter Eurochem-Lipetsk, Agrocenter Eurochem-Krasnodar, Agrocenter Eurochem-Nevinnomyssk, Agrocenter Eurochem-Volgograd, Agrocenter Eurochem-Orel, Eurochem Trading Rus, JSC Nevinnomyssky Azot, Novomoskovsk Joint Stock Company Azot, JSC MCC Eurochem.
In addition, the companies Galaktika, Rusagrokhim, Bosnis, Agrokhimuniversal, Agrocenter-Belgorod, Agrokhimtsentr-Tambov, Ryazanagrokhim, Yugagrokhim, Zaraisk Agricultural Chemistry, Agrarian ”,“ Tselinskagrohimservis ”,“ South-Businesspartner ”,“ Agrochemical universal ”,“ Tandem ”, JSC“ Agrochemistry ”, Society for the support of farms,“ Balttradehim ”.
It is known that the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine appealed to the government with a demand to ban the activities of the above-mentioned companies on the territory of Ukraine, as they could “threaten the national security” of Ukraine.
As previously reported IA REGNUMOn September 13, it became known that the Uralchem company asked the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation to ban the import of any mineral fertilizers from Ukraine. The company emphasized that these substances should be included in the list of goods subject to counter-sanctions.
