Delegation Astrakhan region took part in a working meeting in the Lipetsk region on the territory of the "Lamb Weston - Belaya Dacha" plant. The participants discussed the prospects for the implementation of joint investment projects for the production of French fries.
Astrakhan people were shown the largest in the CIS line for the production of French fries. Modern high-tech production in Lipetsk consumes more than 200 tons of raw materials. The plant has its own raw material base. One of the key suppliers of raw materials is MAPS LLC, located in the Enotaevsky district. Thus, this domestic production completely covers the import of French fries to Russia.
The meeting discussed the possibility of locating a similar enterprise in the Astrakhan region. And also - an increase in the area under potatoes in this region.
