Vremena Goda LLC intends to build a wholesale distribution center near Ufa with a capacity of 100 thousand tons of vegetables at a time.
The authorities of Bashkiria and the company on Wednesday signed an agreement of intent to invest 6 billion rubles in the project during the II All-Russian Investment Forum "Trans-Urals-2020" in Sibay.
According to the agreement, the investor during 2020-2021 will develop and submit to the government of the republic the necessary documentation for including the investment project in the list of regional priority investment projects, as well as a business plan, organizational, technical and financial schemes for the implementation of the project.
As explained by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, currently there is a selection of sites for the construction of the facility. Most likely, the distribution center will be located in the monotown of the Republic of Blagoveshchensk, the process of construction and commissioning of the facility will be phased (2021-2024).
“The main area of the vegetable storage will be occupied by potatoes, because the region is experiencing a deficit in storage capacity. Blagoveshchensk was not chosen by chance. Its proximity to Ufa will enable the sale of products to the urban population through large federal retail chains and convenience stores, ”he specified.
