Bashkortostan will more than double subsidies for elite seed growing this year, reports IA Svetych with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
More funds are provided for subsidizing elite seed growing this year than in 2017, noted the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ramil Nuriakhmetov at the zonal agronomic meeting in the Meleuzovsky district.
This year, 114 million rubles are provided for these purposes, against 49 million rubles in 2017.
For leguminous crops, clover, alfalfa, goat's rue and potatoes, subsidy rates are calculated based on 50% of the cost of purchased elite seeds. For example, the purchase of elite seeds of leguminous crops will be subsidized at the rate of 11 thousand. 364 rubles per hectare of crops. But for the acquisition of the elite of ear crops, a little more than 2 thousand rubles are provided for the same area.
