Tolochin cannery decided to be the first in Belarus to produce frozen french fries. It will be able to order fast food establishments.
“At the Tolochin Cannery, work is underway to organize the production of French fries in the shock freezing workshop. For processing we offer the grade "Lel", a pilot batch has been received. We processed it into French fries, blasted it for storage. Experiments have shown that this variety is perfect for this production. If we can produce frozen French fries, we will be able to offer them to restaurants, ”Vadim Makhanko, Deputy Director General of the Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for Potato and Horticulture, told BelaPAN.
