The semi-finished product will be produced at the Tolochin cannery. It is already known for sure that the Belarusian potato variety "Lel" will be used. It is grown for the third year on a pilot farm in Tolochin. The vegetable tolerates shock freezing well and does not lose its taste. Now Belarusian potato growers are close to the record yield - 300 centners per hectare. This is the result and selection. There are 147 varieties in the Belarusian register, one third of them were bred by our scientists. The demand for potatoes is also growing abroad. Belarus exports about 300 thousand tons annually.
