The Dagestan Institute for Advanced Training of Personnel in the Agroindustrial Complex began training under the program "Innovative technologies in crop production", reports press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia. In addition to theory, much attention is paid to practical exercises on the basis of large agricultural enterprises and experimental stations of research institutions of the Republic of Dagestan.
Off-site classes were organized at the demonstration and experimental fields of the branch of the FGBNU "FANC RD", located on the territory of the experimental station named after. Kirov. The director of the experimental station, Movletkhan Saipov, spoke about the biological characteristics of the cultivated varieties and hybrids, as well as the specifics of their sowing and harvesting features. The plant's workers pay great attention to the development of domestic seed production, in particular, to obtaining vegetable seeds. In 2022, it is planned to conduct production tests to obtain seeds of carrots, beans and red beets.

Dzhambulatov Alimbek Ismailov spoke about the importance of using digital technologies to improve the efficiency of agricultural enterprises. For example, a satellite tracking system allows growers to receive up-to-date weather reports, monitor the status of crops and track the entire cycle of agricultural work.
