An attempt to illegally export 40 tons of potatoes from the territory of Russia to Kazakhstan was stopped at the Ozinki phytosanitary control post in the Saratov region. The regional department of Rosselkhoznadzor reported about it today.
They tried to export the regulated products - potatoes with a total weight of 40 kilograms - to the Republic of Kazakhstan without phytosanitary documentation.
“Based on the results of the inspection, a protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up for the owner of the cargo. The owner of the regulated cargo was issued an order to return a batch of potatoes for issuing a phytosanitary certificate“, - said the press service of the department.
