On October 10, State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia Ivan Lebedev and Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia Igor Kuzin took part in a meeting of the State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues, which was chaired by Committee Chairman Vladimir Kashin.
Igor Kuzin presented to the deputies the draft federal budget for 2018 and for the planning period of 2019 and 2020, submitted by the Government of Russia.
According to the deputy minister, the draft law will finance 2018 billion rubles of financing the state agricultural development program for 222,2. In addition, on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, an additional 20 billion rubles will be allocated for agricultural development. Thus, the financing of the industry in 2018 will be maintained at the level not lower than this year.
Members of the State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues noted the need to preserve the programs of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia - land reclamation and sustainable development of rural territories in the format of federal targeted programs.
